At least 30 people have now been killed during running battles between troops and heavily armed gangsters on the streets of Jamaica.
As the death toll rose in street battles between security forces and supporters of Christopher “Dudus” Coke, the Foreign Office “strongly advised” British citizens to avoid all non-essential travel in the area.
America and other European countries have also heightened warnings to their citizens over the danger in and around Kingston.
Violence has spread to other parts of the island and police have detained 211 people in their hunt for Coke, who is being protected by his supporters.
More than 1,000 police and soldiers launched an assault on Coke’s stronghold and the government has declared a state of emergency.
On the third consecutive day of violence, one of the main hospitals in Kingston had to be closed after armed gangs attacked police outside the building.

Brandy and Ray J's illegitimate brother Danyelle "C-Dove" Brown took his DNA test this weekend to prove once and for all that Big Willie Norwood is indeed his father.
Brandy and Ray J's mother Sonja has already made her feelings known that she doesn't acknowledge him although Ray has met his big brother before.
According to C-Dove's Myspace page, he was born May 6, 1975, at University of Chicago, Lying In Hospital Chicago, Illinois, to his mother Lynetta Brown and his father Willie Ray Norwood Jr. both parents as reported were raised in, and, are from Greenwood, Mississippi. He is the only child that his mother has.
C-Dove asked his father to take the test as well but did he show up. Watch and see if Willie Norwood Sr. stepped up to the plate and acknowledges his possible first born.

First Of Six Defendants Found Guilty In Execution-Style Killings Of Three College Students in Newark NJ
Rodolfo Godinez was convicted today in the killing of three college students in the high-profile schoolyard slayings nearly three years ago.
The jurors announced they had reached a verdict shortly after 10 a.m. The eight women and four men reconvened today after roughly three hours of deliberations Thursday.
Shalga Hightower, mother of victim Iofemi Hightower, spoke today about the verdict outside the courthouse while holding a 2005 prom photo of her daughter.
“Justice is done for my angel and her friends,” Hightower said. “It doesn’t take away the pain, but justice was served.”
Shalga Hightower said she planned to attend the trials of the other defendants. “That’s one down, five more to go,” she said.
Three college-bound students were lined up against a wall and shot in the head that night. Iofemi Hightower and Dashon Harvey, both 20, and Terrance Aeriel, 18, all died. Terrance’s sister, Natasha Aeriel, then 19, was shot but survived.
Godinez, 26, is one of six defendants charged in connection with the Aug. 4, 2007, triple killing. He was convicted on all 17 counts including murder, felony murder, attempted murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and weapons charges related to possession of a machete and a handgun.
His sentencing is scheduled for July 8.
During the four-week trial, Essex County assistant prosecutors Thomas McTigue and Romesh Sukhdeo called 26 witnesses to the stand, including Natasha Aeriel, now 22. More than 400 pieces of evidence were introduced during 11 days of testimony.
Roy Greenman, Godinez’s attorney, had argued that his client was a helpless witness to the killings and played no active role. Greenman said he was disappointed in the verdict.
“(Godinez) is aware that an appeal will be filed on his behalf,” Greenman said.

R.I.P: Brittany Murphy’s Widower Found Dead Sunday Night
Simon Monjack — widower of Brittany Murphy — was found dead late Sunday night at his home in the Hollywood Hills — the same home where his wife Brittany Murphy collapsed and eventually died 5 months earlier — and both bodies were discovered by the same woman. Law enforcement sources say Brittany’s mother, Sharon Murphy, found Monjack unconscious in the master bedroom around 9:30PM, and then called 911.
Monjack was pronounced dead sometime after paramedics arrived … when resuscitation efforts failed. Monjack reportedly died from cardiac arrest, though nothing officially has been determined.
The similarities are remarkable . Murphy was found unconscious by her mother Sharon. Sharon found Simon unconscious as well. Murphy was found in the master bathroom. Simon was found in the master bedroom of the same home. Paramedics administered CPR to Simon. Simon administered CPR to Brittany. And they may have both died from cardiac arrest … 5 months apart.
A death investigation is underway.
UPDATE 5:15AM PDT: Law enforcement sources tell us prescription bottles were found in the house (as they were when Brittany died), but there were no illegal drugs. There is no sign of suicide or foul play … as a result LAPD has closed their investigation. It’s all in the coroner’s hands now.

Frank Lucas' Wife Busted For Selling 2 Kilos Of Coke
The wife of former drug dealer Frank Lucas was arrested Wednesday (May 19th) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, after she allegedly sold 2 kilograms of cocaine to an informant at a hotel.
Julianna Farrait, 70, was being recorded on May 11th, when she told the informant that she had two kilos of cocaine for sale and that another contact had an additional eight kilos to be unloaded.
Farrait set up a second meeting in the Isla Verde and attempted to sell the two kilos to the informant. After the transaction, DEA agents raided the hotel room and took the woman into custody.
Agents had been tracking Farrait since February of 2009, according to reports.
Farrait is married to Frank Lucas, the heroin dealer whose life was portrayed by Oscar-Award winning actor, Denzel
Ironically, Farrait was played by Puerto Rican actress Lymari Nadal
Farrait served 5 years in prison after being arrested in 1975, for her role in Lucas’ heroin operation.
Lucas was sentenced to 40 years in prison, but was released 1991.

Wyclef Jean made a positive move this weekend, treating three survivors of the Haiti earthquake to a shopping spree.
The three recipients selected by Clef and his Yele Haiti foundation are young ladies who lost limbs during the tragedy.
The organization worked alongside the Global Medical Relief Fund to fly the ladies and their families to New York where Wyclef took them to a local K-Mart for a shopping spree.
Speaking to the media about his plan to smiles on the amputees' faces, Clef said,
The ladies will be flown to Philadelphia in June where they'll receive free treatment for their prosthetic limbs.

Drake - Confirms Miss Keys
He might not have been able to nab Sade for his debut, but this will definitely serve as being sufficient for a consolation prize.
Giving the assist on “Un-Thinkable” from The Element of Freedom, Alicia Keys pays Drake back as he announced that she will be featured on Thank Me Later.
In regards to what type of input Keys will give the rapper, she will help setting the album off as she will be on the opening track “Fireworks”.
With June closing in fast and the 15th almost less than 4 weeks away, Drake is approaching the finish line fast. Hopefully he doesn't stumble and lose the race once the album finally drops.

Lindsay Lohan is rolling the dice in her DUI probation case in a big way
Simple math -- If Lindsay doesn't complete at least four more classes, she's in violation of probation and the judge has made it clear ... Lindsay will go to jail.
Sources say Lindsay -- who is in NYC right now -- has made it clear she's flying to France for the film festival. We're told she's going to publicize her movie about Linda Lovelace.
We're told Lindsay will fly from NYC to L.A. today, get her stuff and then head off to France tomorrow. A lot of flying ... but no alcohol ed.
And there's this ... if Lindsay doesn't complete the required number of classes and doesn't show up in court next Wed., it's standard operating procedure for the judge to issue a warrant for her arrest.

Tom cruise spill the beans to Oprah
But now we know - Suri Cruise is the one directing her parent's batch of crazy! They just worship her!
Today, Tom visited The Oprah Winfrey Show (guard your couches!) to talk about his upcoming movies and his little family.
When the conversation drifted Suri's way, the proud papa gushed at how much she has grown and that even at four, she is making major decisions for the family, like what they all wear! He explained:
"She just likes to dress herself, wear whatever she wants. If she wants to wear it, she wears it…She tells me what to wear."Great. Soon she will be telling you what car to drive, what movies to do and how much money you are allowed to have after her allowance.

And BTW - don't make Suri worry about what you have to wear. She already has her hands full dressing her mother!

Dame Dash is a great man and you cannot keep a great man down. This leads me to my rumor. Rumor has it, Dame Dash is reforming Roc=A-Fella. Wait a sec…that’s not a rumor…that’s fact. OK, well here is a rumor. The stage may be set for some sort of friendly competition with the new Roc-A-Fella and Roc Nation. A battle of the ROC. Now, I have no facts yet, but there are some whispers from the Roc Nation side that that Roc brand may want to really and firmly establish that in super stone to make sure there is no confusion as to “who runs this town.” So, now Dame OWNS the name Roc-A-Fella.That’s HIS. So, we are starting to see the new Roc-A-Fella chapter emerge. I wonder if Curren$y can hold it down.

Tatiana Bastos, 29, plunged a the blade into her ex’s groin in a Fatal Attraction-style attack after discovering he had a new girlfriend.
Ricardo Morais, 31, needed stitches after the six-inch blade cut through three levels of his clothing.
The stunned factory worker told a jury at Lincoln Crown Court that he felt ‘the cold of the knife’ and was in agony as he fought to stop the car by pulling on the handbrake.
After the attack, Bastos then tried to cover her tracks by making up a story that he had sexually assaulted her.

The people who shot the video say they were offended by the dirty dancing -- which included a graphic lap dance.
We're told Miley's parents were not at the wrap party. Miley's reps had no comment.
